A snapping success: Akwesasne celebrates its first incubated turtle hatchlings
A priority for for the Mohawk Council of Akwesasne’s environment program team is protecting turtle eggs from vulnerable nests and enhancing hatchling survival rates. This now includes relocating and incubating eggs.
